24.  A  new-old-stock c. 1960s Breitling doctor's wristwatch chronometer with pulse scale.  To determine a pulse one would start the chronograph, count 15 pulsations, stop the chronograph, and a special dial ring allows one to directly read the number of pulsations per minute.  While a large watch, it is not bulky due to the composite material case.  This high quality intage doctor's watch has never been worn and it is in excellent working order, the mechanical Valjoux 7730 movement having been recently cleaned and oiled.  James Bond wears a similar Breitling two-register chronometer in the 1965 movie Thunderball.  SOLD

 58.  A c. 1940s Gruen Chrono-Timer doctor's watch with pulsations dial.

84.  A fine example of an antique doctor's watch with pulsations dial and chronograph functions.  The c. 1952 movement, case, and dial are signed UNVER, which is a trademark of the watchmaker Universal Genève.  To determine a pulse one would start the chronograph, count 30 pulsations, stop the chronograph, and a special dial allows one to directly read the number of pulsations per minute.  All functions are in proper working order.  SOLD

135.  A fine World War I era  sterling silver military wristwatch by Elgin.  The snapback is hand-engraved:  E.W. Collins M.D. / Denver Colo[rado].  The serial number of 21092177 indicates that the watch was made in 1918.

193.   An interesting and high quality c. 1940s antique doctor's watch by Girard-Perregaux.  The two-tone pulsation dial is in superb original condition, and the chronometer movement and case are signed.  The teardrop lugs are most attractive and very '40s.  To determine a pulse, one would start the chronograph, count 30 pulsations, stop the chronograph, and a special dial allows one to directly read the number of pulsations per minute.  All functions are in proper working order.  SOLD
